Rendlesham Sports Centre is situated on the domestic site of the former United States Air Force base known as Bentwaters. Constructed in 1986, it became the main recreational facility for the American service personnel based at the airfield. As was common in the construction of US personnel facilities, the building is extremely spacious and has lent itself readily to the substantial improvements and developments that have taken place since it reopened in May 2000 as Rendlesham Sports Centre.

The sports centre has been designed to cater for a wide and varied range of activities, and we have installed state-of-the-art equipment to this end. Among the many activities and facilities you can enjoy at Rendlesham Sports Centre are:
